Our monthly First Friday again!! This was a band that was playing at this house. I wish I could remember what the band's name was. They were pretty good.
Borrowed this movie at the library and watch it today. Not sure why I even bothered, since I already knew the movie was going to suck, but hey, there's some serious eye candy in it though and I'm not talking about Robert Pattinson!!
I had bought these a few days ago, but I was craving so much of these today I had two!! Yum!
Ok this is turning into the Kurtz and Milli blog. LOL But look how cute they look. Kurtz has a love/hate relationship with Milli. He loves her when she's calm and not in his face like in this picture. Poor Milli, she's just so in love with Kurtz. She always scoots over towards him.
God I'm horrible at this taking a picture everyday!! Oh well. I got a text from Redbox for a free movie, so this is what I got! I love kid movies sometimes and this one was so cute! And of course because "The Rock" was in it I had to watch it. Next kid movie on the list...The Princess and The Frog. :)
Milli's parents have been out late a lot lately and have been leaving her outside. I felt bad so I let her back in and let her hang out with me and Kurtz. She immediately jumps into bed with me. I was playing with her with my feet and she plops her head down and falls asleep. Haha so cute when she finally calms down.
Today was the Susan G. Komen 5K race. I was so happy I was able to run the whole thing without walking! Especially since I'm not much of a runner. My time was 36:50. It was a lot better than I thought I would do. I was just hoping to make it under 40 min. It felt great especially since this year the doing the race had a lot of meaning for me in more ways than one! :)
I love love love spaghetti! So I decided to make some today. Although I was feeling too lazy to make the sauce from scratch like I usually do. The jar sauce was still pretty good, it was roasted garlic.
I was feeling a bit nerdy today and tried to do a crossword puzzle online. I have come to realize though, it is a lot easier to cheat when you play online. I love the reveal the letter or word button!! :) I took the picture before I started. Cuz it took me forever to actually finish the puzzle.
Spin class! I was trying to take a picture when we had a quick break. That's my instructor Michelle in the red shirt and my water bottle. LOL You can kind of see me in the mirror with Brenda on my left and Oanh on my right. Stupid phone camera doesn't take pictures clearly sometimes. I felt like throwing up during class. Probably shouldn't have eaten the spaghetti at lunch!
This stuff is so awesome!! It's like a latte but a lot healthier! See the part that says 40G of protein. :) And it's organic. One of the few healthy things I drink!
View of the strip as I get back in to Vegas after a short trip to Seattle. Every time I go home, I start to miss it up there more and more. What's weird is I miss stuff about Vegas too when I'm gone. Guess I'll always have two places I call home since Vegas is the longest I've lived anywhere since I had gotten married.

My niece and nephew with their Lolo and Lola!! Man they've grown so much. I love how Madeleine uses a binky and Andrew never took to it. Twins and yet they're so different.
This had to be the best caesar salad I've ever had at a bar! And this was supposed to be the half serving. Now it would have been super awesome if it had less dressing. I'm weird when it comes to dressings, I can't eat too much of it on a salad. I actually like the taste of lettuce. LOL It was still pretty damn good though.
This is my friend Teresa Danks and her husband Don. Teresa passed away today because of complications due to liver failure. Although we weren't as close as I wish we were, I will miss her very much. At least now she is no longer in pain and is reunited with her daughter. I love you Teresa!
I was so trying to take a picture of the moon with my iPhone. It might be time to start using a real camera for this blog. Wait....I think I've said that before. Oh well. :)
Went to REI today to pick up my spin shoes. The ones I ordered ended up being too small and I ended up getting the next size up which was what they had there. Oh well. While chit chatting with the guy putting my cleats on, he thought I was a spin instructor. I was like um yea far from it! But thanks to that hottie I was feeling pretty good about myself the rest of the day! It's always nice to get a big boost to your ego once in awhile. :D
Gym day. Today was Body Pump, see all the weights! LOL Yea and then Brenda, Toby and I ran 3.5 miles after class. Wow! Not sure if the soreness is from body pump or the run. Felt awesome though.
Ok I know I'm cheating but this picture was so funny I had to post it! This was from the art show on Friday. That was the sign for the bathroom. Although what was confusing was this was the only bathroom! It would have made more sense if they had another bathroom for men with the word Penises on it. Hmmmm....maybe I'm not an artist enough to understand. It was still really funny!
Since I was hungover from Brenda's party and I was way too lazy to cook anything to eat or rather even go get food. I had pizza and wings delivered. I took a picture of the pizza since I hardly EVER eat pizza and it amazes some people when I do. HAHA Yup I'm talking about you Aaron and Peg!
Brenda and I trying on Miguel's "glasses", they were not prescription. We looked so asian, we decided to do some serious asian poses with it!! Oh man, that was her birthday party night! What a crazy night but so fun!
Went to the Dirty Trix Art Show and my friend Christian sold his first big item piece!!! YAY way to go Fazio!! Now I just need to talk him into giving me one of them for free or paint one for me. :) Hmmm my birthday is coming up this summer, I should start dropping hints.
So Kurtz and I are chillin at home and we hear Milli freaking out in her room! :( Poor thing has separation anxiety. So we let her out and let her hang out with us. And look what she did?! She got in bed with me and fell asleep! Aaaaw so cute.
Ah it was such a nice day that Kurtz decided he was gonna sunbathe!! I love how he can lay there for a long time and sleep. He doesn't move, such a lazy bum.
Bye bye Cali!! View from my window on my way back to Vegas!! Had an awesome trip and already miss everyone! I forget how nice it is on JetBlue since I could sit there and watch tv and make an already short flight even shorter.

Me, Ate Gina, Ate Lyn and Nanay at breakfast (Kuya Val was taking the picture). It was so cold that day that's why we're all wearing sweatshirts and jackets. It's supposed to be spring in southern California?? WTH! Oh and Nanay got hit on by an old white guy!! I think he was scoping out the area looking for hot filipino women!
Me with my girls!! Well Carlos was there too! haha We spent the day having a picnic at the Rose Bowl and then rode the bikes around while Star and Carlos took turns riding the bike and walking Maya in the stroller! It was such a beautiful day!
Got into Burbank today and saw my girl Star!! Haven't seen her since October last year. So great that we only see each a few times a year and it always seems like we were never apart! Her husband Carlos sure has opened up a lot more over the years!! We stayed up talking, while Star went to bed. LOL
Ordered my spin shoes today! Had to order it online cuz my damn feet are too small!! Jeez! Oh well. Can't wait for it to get here!

First Friday! It has become Gail's and my monthly ritual. This is the band that was playing at Gypsy Den. Had a hard time taking a better picture with all the "groupies" up front. LOL
The new roomies moved in today and with their Pitbull/Lab mix dog, Millie. Kurtz has a new friend, yay! If only her tail didn't hurt so bad.
This is my baby, Kurtz! He's such a cuddle bug. I was laying down texting and he came up and plopped himself on me. He was passed out in this position for about half an hour, before he finally moved.
Went to the library to return a book today and apparently I had a book on reserve that I completely forgot about. Since I'm working on this running thing, I guess I should read this book and see if it's actually worthwhile. The intro is already funny, one of the rules: don't run into holes, vehicles, structures, lampposts, fences, cacti, other animals, and large bodies of water. LOL
Apparently I'm cursed with phones or my head is magnetized, one of the two. Went to the Apple store today at Town Square because my phone was acting up. I am now on my 5th iPhone. They replaced it just in case it was the phone that was the problem. Thank goodness for warranties and Apple! It's nice not having to pay for any of these replacements! Had phone warranties before, but there was always that darn $50 deductible!!
Was over at Lindsay and Stacey's house today after helping them out. I stayed and hung out and we played Yahtzee. Haven't played this game in years. That darn large straight completely eluded me until the 3rd game and yet I still didn't win one!!
Went with Miguel, Brenda and her siblings to Skyzone. I was trying to do the cheerleader jump. Not as easy as it looks. It was so fun jumping, but so tiring!! The hoop in the background makes it look like I have headphones on. LOL
Went over to Brenda's and hung out with her and her siblings. Nismo looked so cute, had to take a picture of him. Too bad it's not his normal look where his tongue is hanging out!
